Accessory Gifts

Let's face it: Buying clothing for others can be tricky. And sometimes you feel jewellery is the "easy way" out of that gifting predicament. But never fear, accessories can bridge that "not sure what kind of wearables to get" gap!

Have someone on your list who lives in hipster jeans? Check out our great selection of textured/patterned belts to keep those jeans in place!

Arms & wrists stay cozy & look stylish when wearing cuff bracelets or arm warmers!
We also have plenty of warm hats & scarves too!

Shrugs....the most versatile wearable gift you can bestow on someone! They allow you not only to stay warm & look fabulous but also enable you to wear your short sleeved tops all winter long! We currently have shrugs made from recycled sweaters (as seen here matched with a Tree print top) & also mohair ones. Don't forget that Fresh Baked Goods can always make you a custom shrug if you prefer other types of knit materials !

We have animals, letters, Celtic designs, Victorian ladies, video game icons, fabric prints & classic Nancy Drew cover ones!
And buttons can be more then just wee stocking stuffers, why not slip one into an envelope with a greeting card, pin onto your winter hat or stash inside an Advent Calender display?

At $12 apiece, these MP3 Player sleeves will not last long in the store this holiday season! These sleeves can also serve as digital camera cases. They are def the item for that hard-to-buy for teenaged girl on your list!

Got milk? This kitty sure does! She's printed onto a flour sack tea towel that would make a delightful (and affordable at $10) Hostess gift this holiday season.

Here are some jewellery pieces that are all $20 or less:
Mini Jellyfish brooch, Songbird hairpins, Mod disc earrings, birch Feather threaders, beaded Cherries earrings, Ruler earrings & vintage Thimble necklace set.

Here's a close-up of the Ruler earrings: They are pieces of vintage rulers with glass bead details. They would be a very unique Teacher's gift!

Buying jewellery for a gift

Having several jewellery designers at the Fresh Collective means that we have LOTS of different jewellery styles to offer! So when it comes to selecting jewellery for a gift (or to treat yourself!) you will have many pieces to choose from.

For those who like to wear dangly (yet light weight) earrings, we have these Baltic-Birch charm earring threaders by OddBird. There are several charm designs to choose from besides the Bear, Tree & Hummingbird shown here. Come into the store to take a look!

Buttercup Days combines several types of vintage baubles (with flowers, animals, insects, beads, glass etc) to create jewellery that has a Classic or Romantic feel. Yet it works with many styles, whether its worn with a lacey dress or basic t-shirt. So detailed you need to come see these pieces in person to get a closer look!

If its a more modern look your after, check out Margie's jewellery line. This "Abacus" style necklace has multiple coloured beads that'll go with many different outfits. And Margie has made each single bead herself, how neat is that?

We also have more fun/less serious jewellery, such as the "Girls Don't Poop"necklace by Peeno....while maybe you can't wear this one at the Office, it certainly makes a great gag gift for the "Girl who has Everything!"

Shown here is a handmade card by Utility Grade, who also has tee-shirts and art prints with dogs on them. The domino pendant is by Odd Bird, as is the black vintage hairclip and blue pendant. We have lots of little fun things like these buttons with a ton of different images, from dogs to nipples (yes, no kidding! Come in to the shop and see all our hilarious and cute buttons.)

Girly Girl

Got a girly girl you need to buy a gift for? Why not put a nice assortment of pink things together for her? Here we have a skirt by Fresh Baked Goods, a charm necklace by Buttercup Days, a bead necklace by Precious Pink Designs, and a handmade card by Paper Diva. At Fresh Collective, we can always wrap it all up for you too, just ask!

Four Leaf Clover Ring

Here's a great "Good Luck" gift for any occassion! This is a ring by Designs by Peeno, and it's a real four leaf clover pressed between glass (the pink thing is just a ring stand). We also have pendants in the four leaf clover style, and lots of assorted pressed flowers of all kinds. This is a lovely gift for someone about to write final exams, facing a big job interview, or any other little challenges that could use a good luck gift.

Sending a gift abroad? Send a piece of home with one of our many Canadian themed handmade in Toronto items! We have Canada flag Candi Factory undies, shown here with an assortment of jewellery that would make a nice gift package! We also have vintage Canadian souvenir charms, and lots of jewelley by Story Beads featuring Toronto subway stops.

Also, for Toronto fans, we have Toronto tees based on vintage postcard style artwork! Whether you need a gift for a transplanted Torontonian, or a family member who loves to visit Canada, we've got great choices, and since everything is handmade in Toronto, it makes the gift extra-special.
